There is a long history of using turmeric tea in India as a form of medicine due to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Simple to prepare and excellent for fortifying your body's defences, Turmeric Chai is a must-try and is regarded as one of the best tea for health.


Turmeric Chai Ingredients

 Water- 500 ml

Tea valley leaves- 1 tsp

Ginger- 3 slices

Turmeric- 3 slices

Cardamom Seeds- 2 squashed

Cloves- 3 pieces

Fennel Seeds- a pinch

Almond Milk: Optional

Honey: As per taste

Turmeric Chai Method of Preparation 

  1. The first step is to fill a pan with water.
  2. Toss in the fennel seeds, a pinch of ground ginger, ground turmeric, crushed cardamom pods, and a pinch of ground cloves.
  3. Add Tea Valley tea leaves.
  4. After 5 or 6 minutes, turn off the flame and pour the drink into serving glasses and serve.
  5. You can drink it straight up or sweeten it with almond milk and honey.
